  • Interpret prints, charts, sketches, process specifications, verbal instructions, and electronic data to complete assigned work
  • Use shop mathematics and precision measuring tools and/or test instruments to verify fit, form, and function of assemblies
  • Operate and utilize tooling to build sub-assemblies and end-item aircraft components
  • Verify all completed work meets engineering and quality control requirements; identify and document any discrepancies per procedures
  • Ensure tooling and equipment certifications are current and compliant with required standards
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment (filters, lubrication, coolant levels, light machine upkeep, etc.)
  • Move materials and components within the manufacturing area using assigned equipment and complete required tracking transactions
  • Support production flow by assisting and training employees across multiple skill levels
  • Assist in training other assembly personnel in installation, assembly, and inspection techniques
  • Cross-train in inspection functions and become SIA qualified
  • Set up and operate conventional and/or CNC fastening equipment with less than simultaneous 3-axis movement
  • Perform specialty work including:
  • Assembly/installation of structures
  • Sealing operations
  • Sub-assembly build
  • Doors installation
  • Integral fuel cell sealing
  • Precision bench assembly
  • Pressure and vacuum testing

Profile

Requirements:
