About the Opportunity:
Air Systems, a proud division of SRM Concrete, is seeking an experienced and driven Service Manager (Air Systems) to lead our service operations with purpose and precision. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality air system service while elevating both the customer experience and team performance.
As a Service Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily operations, managing service technicians, optimizing scheduling and dispatch, and ensuring compliance with warranty and manufacturer standards. Your Mission & Key Responsibilities:
As our Service Manager, your mission is to drive operational excellence, ensure customer satisfaction, and lead a high-performing service team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day air systems service operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and technician coordination
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs, emergency service calls, and job prioritization
- Manage warranty administration, service documentation, and manufacturer compliance requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service inquiries and escalations, resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Lead, coach, and develop service technicians and administrative staff, ensuring accountability, safety, and performance standards
- Ensure all service work meets industry standards, safety regulations, and company expectations
- Maintain accurate records including work orders, invoicing, reporting, and service history
- Communicate directly with customers regarding system performance, repairs, and maintenance recommendations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and parts teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Support process improvement initiatives and assist with technician training and development

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a service management or supervisory role within a service-based industry
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, air systems, or mechanical service operations
- Strong knowledge of airflow systems, compressors, controls, air handlers, and ventilation principles
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer and employee conflict with professionalism and efficiency
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple service requests in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with service scheduling, dispatch systems, and work order management software preferred
- Commitment to workplace safety, compliance, and company standards
