They are currently seeking an Air Separation Plant Operator to join their team at their Fairfield, Alabama ( Birmingham) location. They are looking for a Veteran Candidate to safely monitor and maintain plant operations that produce oxygen, nitrogen, and cryogenic products. This role involves controlling process flow, pressure, and purity using PLC/HMI systems, supporting production efficiency, and working with vendors to maintain proper water treatment and chemical balances. Operators will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines, valves, motors, and electrical systems, while also troubleshooting issues to ensure reliable operation.
Additional responsibilities include:
-reading technical drawings
-calibrating instruments for quality assurance
-conducting plant rounds, maintaining cleanliness, and following all safety, environmental, and maintenance programs, including participating in an on-call rotation to support continuous operations.

Compensation for this role is roughly $31.25/hr plus overtime and Quarterly Bonus. You can expect to make $80-90k year one! They do have a full Benefits, 401k, and pension! This is a rotating shift working days for 2 weeks then rotating to nights. There is 4 days off between shifts which is great for work life balance and family time. This is a low cost living area and company with endless upward mobility!! Job 59013 Salary: $31 per hour; anything over 8 hours in a day is time and a half. Built in OT plus additional OT available.
