The Air Quality Technician Journeyman position is a part-time staff role at the Health Science Campus Hospital in Toledo, OH, within the Environmental Services department.
They are responsible for
- daily maintenance and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems,
- performing preventive maintenance,
- meeting work schedules, and providing effective service and leadership.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid journeyman AQT certificate or related technical degree with at least four years of experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work with precision.
Strong knowledge of HVAC/refrigeration, blueprints, electrical schematics, and safety codes is required, along with good communication and teamwork skills.
Conditions include a tobacco-free campus and pre-employment health screenings. The role offers starting pay at $23.08/hour, with shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, including weekends and holidays.
