Lead Air Quality Programs That Protect Our Community
Pinellas County is one of only eight Florida counties authorized to monitor air quality. We are seeking an experienced Air Quality Division Manager to lead programs that protect public health and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local air quality regulations.
In this leadership role, you will oversee ambient air monitoring, asbestos and air toxics programs, compliance activities, and grant management while providing strategic direction for the County''''s Air Quality Program.
This highly visible position works closely with regulatory agencies, community stakeholders, and the regulated community. Strong leadership, communication, and technical expertise are essential.
You will lead a team of fifteen (15) professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while helping shape the future of air quality management in Pinellas County.

Experience: Air quality field with an emphasis in state or local air programs, include two (2) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
Education: degree with major coursework in physical, natural or biological science, environmental engineering or a related field.
