Duties and tasks based on newly established practices and processes created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.Qualifications Education/Certification:High school diploma or GED certificateSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interact with diverse populationsAbility to identify and solve problemsAbility to work cohesively with center staffAbility to effectively assist with a variety of center-based non-instructional tasksExperience:Experience working in childcare settings with children ages 0-5Experience working in an Early Head Start or Head Start program preferredMajor Responsibilities and Duties Model HCDE and Head Start's mission, vision, and values.Comply with all state and federal laws and department and center policies and procedures.Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integration and consistent delivery of all Head Start services.Maintain and respect confidentiality of student and staff information.Ensure adequate supervision of students to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of all students.Support center personnel to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the center.Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.Cooperate with all center and department personnel.Perform other duties as assigned.
