Job Title: Aide - Instructional

Primary Purpose: Assist teacher in preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under supervision of certified teacher.
Qualifications: Education: Associate's degree or two years of study 60 college hours at an institute of higher learning or Para Professional Institute Certificate Valid Texas educational aide certificate
Special Knowledge, Skills, Ability to: Assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics Work well with children Communicate effectively
Experience: Some experience working with children

Equipment Used: Copier Personal computer Typewriter Audiovisual equipment
Working Conditions: Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stress. Physical Demands: Moderate standing, stooping, bending, and lifting. Environmental Factors: Constant contact with students, parents, and staff.
