This is not a role for someone waiting on direction. We’re looking for an AI Creative Motion Designer who lives online, tracks new tools before they’re mainstream, and turns cultural signals into scroll-stopping creative.

The Role

You’ll concept, experiment, and execute. You’ll push AI-driven motion and visuals forward — for both client campaigns and EDGLRD’s own social presence. You’ll work in the studio five days a week, collaborating in real time with a multidisciplinary team, speaking directly with clients, and shaping how AI is used creatively across the agency.

You should be comfortable owning ideas from first spark to final delivery — and confident enough to explain why the work works.

What You’ll Do

• Concept and produce AI-driven video and visual content built for social

• Create short-form videos, loops, and stills that feel current, sharp, and premium

• Generate original creative ideas—not just execute briefs

• Work directly with clients: understand their asks, ask better questions, and translate needs into standout visuals

• Present creative concepts clearly and confidently to clients and internal leadership

• Deliver high-quality work on deadline, without hand-holding

• Stay ahead of AI, tech, design, and social trends—and proactively share insights with creative leadership

• Experiment constantly with new tools, formats, and workflows, then turn what works into repeatable systems

• Balance speed, experimentation, and polish in a fast-moving startup environment

• Train custom models in order to execute concepts

What We’re Looking For

• Deep hands-on experience with generative AI tools for video and image creation (Stable Diffusion, Runway, Kling, Sora, Midjourney, After Effects + AI workflows, etc.)

• Strong foundation in video, motion, or visual storytelling

• Drive bold, original creative ideation, developing unique animation concepts that inspire stakeholders and bring ideas to life through mood boards, storyboards, and compelling presentations

• Design and animate video and image concepts for internal, external, organic and paid touchpoints and channels, ensuring alignment with brand identity and campaign objectives

• Obsessive awareness of culture, internet trends, social platforms, and emerging tech

• Self-starter mindset — you see opportunities and act on them

• Highly organized and able to manage deadlines across multiple projects

• Clear communicator who can distill complex ideas into simple, compelling narratives

• Work on other non-motion design projects as needed

• Confident communicator and collaborator across various departments.

• Hungry, scrappy, and eager to build – not afraid of hard work

Candidate MUST have the following to be considered:

• Available to be in Miami Beach studio Monday – Friday

• Strong portfolio showcasing motion and visual design expertise.

• Deep technical understanding of AI video workflows and prompting
