The Opportunity

FuntoNetwork is seeking a AI Vendor Landscape and Procurement Risk Consultant for an active RFP opportunity: Pinellas County RFP 26-0564 - Artificial Intelligence Strategic Roadmap and Governance Framework Consultant.

Pinellas County seeks consulting services to develop an enterprise-wide Artificial Intelligence strategic roadmap and governance framework covering current-state readiness, governance structures, responsible-use policy, use case identification, ROI analysis, workforce change management, vendor/procurement strategy, and a three-to-five-year implementation roadmap.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide vendor-neutral AI market analysis, buy-versus-build guidance, procurement safeguards, contract provisions, compliance obligations, liability considerations, cybersecurity requirements, and platform evaluation support.
• Review the RFP scope, source posting, supporting documents, deadline, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with FuntoNetwork and related consultants to support a complete, professional response.
• Prepare documentation, analysis, recommendations, deliverables, or technical inputs related to this role.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders as needed.
• Support quality control, status updates, and final submission readiness.
• Baseline the security environment: Inventory assets, identities, data flows, privileged access, logging, endpoint controls, and third-party dependencies for Pinellas County RFP 26-0564 - Artificial Intelligence Strategic Roadmap and Governance Framework Consultant .
• Map regulatory and control requirements: Translate applicable security, privacy, contractual, and compliance obligations into testable controls for Pinellas County.
• Perform threat and risk analysis: Identify threat scenarios, vulnerabilities, likelihood, impact, existing safeguards, and residual risk.
• Define monitoring and incident workflows: Specify alert sources, severity rules, triage steps, evidence preservation, escalation, containment, and notification paths.
• Manage remediation work packages: Assign findings, due dates, compensating controls, exceptions, validation tests, and closure evidence.
• Produce security assurance evidence: Prepare control mappings, risk-register updates, incident records, remediation status, and executive security reporting.

What You Bring

• Relevant experience for this RFP-based role.
• Strong written communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work against proposal deadlines and client requirements.
• Experience supporting public-sector, enterprise, or consulting projects is preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow structured submission requirements.

Earnings, Payments, and Tax Records

Consultants will be able to track project earnings, payment status, and tax records inside the FuntoNetwork mobile app.

Approved payments for this RFP opportunity will be processed through the app, and consultants will be able to request withdrawals from their available balance directly inside the app.

The app will also provide access to relevant payment history and tax-related records for consultant tracking and reporting.
