Job Overview Position: AI Solutions Engineer – Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) Support OfficeLocation: Richmond, VA (Onsite required). Also eligible for other Federal Reserve Bank locations (Boston, Kansas District).Reporting to: Senior Manager – Product ManagerSalary Range: $133,000 – $183,000 annually (adjusted for geographic location).Role Summary: Drive AI innovation across the enterprise, build the Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) foundation, and deliver AI solutions for HR, finance, and procurement.What You Will Do Translate business and operational challenges into practical AI opportunities and technical solutions.Deploy and configure native AI capabilities within ERP vendor platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP Ariba).Build custom AI solutions: intelligent agents, chatbots, and automation leveraging Gen AI and LLMs.Define and document technical specifications for deploying ERP and AI solutions.Lead AI projects from concept to production, ensuring business alignment and measurable ROI.Enable PaaS environments within Workday and SAP to support AI deployments and future custom development.Develop deployment pipelines and engineering processes for PaaS services.Configure and integrate platform services, security, and governance with corporate cloud services.Assess emerging technologies and recommend adoption approaches for the ERP technology roadmap.Evaluate vendor AI capabilities versus custom solutions on cost of ownership.Champion AI literacy through training, demonstrations, and knowledge sharing.Provide production support and training for deployed solutions.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.10+ years in IT/software engineering with hands‑on corporate/industry experience.Proven track record deploying AI solutions to production in corporate settings (traditional AI, Gen AI, or agentic AI).3+ years with enterprise cloud platforms (Workday, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or similar) in a technical or configuration capacity.Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.Experience with deployment pipelines, CI/CD, or DevOps practices.Hands‑on experience deploying AI/ML solutions including Machine Learning, Gen AI, LLMs, AI agents, or chatbots.Platform configuration expertise with enterprise SaaS/PaaS systems or IaaS environments.Integration skills: RESTful APIs, webhooks, data flows, authentication (OAuth, SAML).Data management: SQL, data pipelines, data quality assessment.Programming proficiency in Python.Preferred Qualifications Hands‑on experience with Workday AI, SAP AI capabilities, or similar vendor‑embedded AI.Knowledge or experience with Workday Extend, SAP BTP, or similar platforms for custom development.Process workflow automation knowledge/experience.DevOps/MLOps experience building CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI/ML services and frameworks.Domain knowledge in HR, finance, or procurement.AI/ML or cloud certifications.Other Requirements and Considerations Candidates must review the Bank's Employee Code of Conduct and comply with conflict‑of‑interest rules and personal investment restrictions.Disability accommodations are available; contact rich.recruit@rich.frb.org.Sponsorship is not available.Selected candidates will undergo a government security investigation and must be U.S. citizens.Equal Opportunity Statement Our Federal Reserve Banks are committed to equal employment opportunity for employees and job applicants in compliance with applicable law and to an environment where employees are valued for their differences.#J-18808-Ljbffr
