AI Platform Engineer

IDR is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role focuses on building and scaling a governed, AI-accelerated engineering ecosystem across multiple cloud platforms and enterprise digital applications. The position involves developing shared platform capabilities, automating workflows, enhancing platform reliability, and supporting AI governance and security standards.

Position Overview for the AI Platform Engineer:

• Develop and maintain platform engineering capabilities across Power Platform, Dynamics 365 F&O, Azure, AWS, APIs, and digital applications.
• Support and operationalize AI-enabled development workflows, including local agents, Copilot-assisted engineering, and automated SDLC pipelines.
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines, environment strategies, and platform governance standards.
• Build reusable platform services, automation frameworks, and developer tooling to accelerate enterprise delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform security, observability, and operational excellence.

Requirements for the AI Platform Engineer:

• 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Automation Engineering, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, Dynamics 365 F&O, Azure, and AWS.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and enterprise integrations.
• Deep understanding of APIs, REST services, OAuth, platform security, and governance standards.
• Experience with AI-assisted workflows, Copilot technologies, and automation tooling in enterprise environments.
