Job Description: 
Seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions within healthcare environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Python AI development, GPT/LLMs, machine learning frameworks, healthcare applications, and Generative AI technologies. This role requires building scalable and secure AI-driven healthcare solutions, designing enterprise-grade machine learning pipelines, integrating GPT-based models, and supporting ethical AI practices focused on privacy, fairness, and security. The candidate will collaborate within Agile teams to architect, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications, dashboards, APIs, and automation workflows that transform healthcare datasets into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable AI/ML solutions using GPT, LLMs, and machine learning technologies to solve healthcare-related business challenges
  • Develop enterprise-grade AI applications with strong focus on privacy, fairness, ethical AI, security, and compliance standards
  • Act as a Generative AI subject matter expert to architect and develop scalable, resilient AI solutions for enterprise healthcare applications
  • Design AI outputs using structured formats such as JSON, nested nodes, arrays, and HTML to support dashboard visualization and accelerated development cycles
  • Build extensible API integrations and low-code UI/UX-enabled AI solutions to integrate enterprise systems with GPT-based models and analytics workflows
  • Develop solutions that extract insights from multiple sources and present information in high-performing, intuitive dashboards
  • Translate business problems into AI-driven solution outcomes and actionable insights
  • Understand AI interpretation of datasets and develop effective prompt engineering strategies to generate expected business outcomes
  • Architect and develop distributed systems and scalable infrastructure supporting machine learning technologies and enterprise AI solutions
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize AI/ML pipelines including data preprocessing, feature extraction, model training, testing, and evaluation
  • Utilize machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and open-source platforms like Hugging Face to deliver enterprise AI capabilities
  • Optimize generative AI models for performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product development, business, and technical teams within Agile environments
  • Support enterprise AI governance, responsible AI standards, and ethical deployment practices
  • Improve AI model performance through optimization, tuning, and experimentation initiatives
  • Support dashboard integrations, API orchestration, and scalable AI service deployments
  • Participate in continuous innovation and modernization of AI-driven healthcare systems


Required Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering, AI, machine learning, or related technical environments
  • Strong expertise in Python AI development, GPT, LLMs, and Generative AI technologies
  • Experience building healthcare-related AI/ML applications and enterprise healthcare solutions
  • Strong experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and machine learning frameworks
  • Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP), generative models, and prompt engineering
  • Experience designing AI outputs in JSON, arrays, HTML, or structured formats for downstream systems and dashboards
  • Experience developing AI pipelines including preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation
  • Strong API integration and scalable distributed system development experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Experience building privacy-focused, secure, ethical, and responsible AI solutions


Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting healthcare environments and healthcare data-driven applications required
  • Strong expertise in Generative AI, GPT, and LLM-based enterprise solutions preferred
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments preferred
  • Local New Jersey candidates only required


Certifications:

  • AI/ML certification preferred
  • Python certification preferred
  • Cloud AI certification preferred
