Title: AI Engineer
Locations: Malvern, PA or Charlotte

Pay Range: $50 - $55/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our team. This role requires expertise in developing and implementing AI solutions, with a focus on leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with AI/ML Frameworks
- Knowledge of Generative AI and LLMs
- Familiarity with Agentic AI Framework
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Computing
- Experience with Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock
- Experience configuring and optimizing vector databases
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and implement RAG pipelines, including document ingestion, chunking, and embedding generation.
- Integrate LLM APIs securely into applications and workflows.
- Configure and optimize vector databases for semantic and hybrid search performance.
- Build orchestration layers using frameworks as per architecture.
- Implement prompt templates and context management for consistent and accurate responses.
- Develop guardrails and validation logic to prevent unsafe or non-compliant outputs.
- Set up monitoring and logging for LLM performance, latency, and cost tracking.
- Optimize retrieval and response pipelines for scalability and low latency.
- Collaborate with Tech Lead and Architect to translate design into production-ready solutions.
- Create reusable components and SDKs for AI integration across multiple use cases.
