Position Title:AI/EHRS Training SpecialistDepartment:All SitesReports To:As assigned by Program DirectorPOSITION SUMMARYThe Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Electronic Health Records (EHRS) Training Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive training program for staff and supervisorsonartificialintelligence(AI),Copilot,andrelatedsystems(includingEPIC,AVATAR,Call Center, and RCM). (TTC).Ensures a high-quality standard for all agency staff and community training by implementing and adhering to learning principles and latest understanding of education and teaching methods.Facilitate Training Sessions: Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions, adapting content for new hires, ongoing staff development, and monthly learning collaboratives.Develop and Execute Trainings: Plan and oversee a phased rollout of AI and Copilot training, including policy, responsible use, and application in platforms such as Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.CurriculumDesign:Createandupdatetrainingmaterialsfordiverseaudiences,including staff, supervisors, and specialized teams.CoordinatetrainingofEHRS platforms,inparticularAVATARandtheintegrationofAI applications.SuperuserandTrainerCoordination:trainandsupportsuperusersforeachsystem; coordinate with internal and external trainers as needed.SupportOngoingLearning:Organizeandfacilitatemonthlylearningcollaborativesfor advanced topics, Q&A, and updates.ContinuousImprovement:Collectfeedback,monitortrainingeffectiveness,andupdate programs to reflect new technologies, policies, and organizational needs.StakeholderCommunication:Developandimplementcommunicationplanstokeepstaff and supervisors informed about training opportunities and updates.Attend all required AI Oversight Committee Meetings, Behavioral Health Quality Assurance/Improvement Meeting and any other meetings identified to support organizational strategic goals.Promote Data Security and Ethical AI Use: Ensure training content and practices reinforce the importance of data privacy, security protocols and ethical use of AI technologies including but not limited to sensitive health information across all data repositories.Additional duties as required.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEBA/BSdegree in Education, Data Science, Business, Finance Analysis, Information Technologyorrelatedfieldor2yearsofexperiencetraininginEHRSorAIconcepts.Provenexperienceintrainingcoordination,instructionaldesign,ortechnologyadoption-preferably in healthcare or behavioral health settings.StrongunderstandingofAIconcepts,digitaltools(e.g.,MicrosoftCopilot,Teams,EHR platforms), and adult learning principles.ExperiencewithLearningManagementSystems(LMS)ande-learningtoolsisaplus.Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.SETTINGTarzanaTreatmentCenters,Inc.(TTC)isanon-profitcorporation,whichprovidesbehavioral healthcare services, including chemical dependency.EQUALOPPORTUNITYEMPLOYERTarzanaTreatmentCenters,Inc.doesnotdiscriminateagainstrace,nationality,religion,gender, sexual orientation and disability in its hiring practices.ADAREQUIREMENTTarzana Treatment Centers, Inc. supports the Americans with Disabilities Act.
