This role involves operating custom application equipment to meet grower needs efficiently and professionally.
- Perform heavy equipment operations with skill and precision, ensuring quality work on customer fields without damage.
- Maintain and care for equipment properly, including reading plat maps and work orders to accurately locate fields.
- Communicate effectively with managers, coworkers, and customers in the work area.
- Utilize monitor software and GPS mapping systems during application procedures.
- Diagnose basic machinery and software issues as needed.
- Requirements include a custom applicator license for restricted pesticides, a HazMat endorsement if handling hazardous chemicals, and flexibility to work seasonal overtime.
- Experience with hydraulics, air brakes, and relevant software systems is preferred.
