Black Hawk Schools, a small, rural district in southwest Wisconsin, is seeking an Agriculture Education Instructor and FFA Advisor to lead one of our school''s flagship programs. Nestled in a premier agricultural economic region, our tight-knit school community deeply values ag education and boasts an incredibly strong, active FFA chapter with a proud legacy.
We proudly welcome traditionally licensed applicants as well as industry professionals looking to utilize Wisconsin''s Experience-based Pathway. This unique alternative route leverages your real-world agricultural expertise and content knowledge through a designated point system. Black Hawk Schools will establish and oversee a supportive, multi-year, on-the-job training program to round out your teaching license while you work.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead a hands-on agriscience, mechanics, and technology curriculum. Advise and mentor our thriving FFA chapter and student SAE projects.
Qualifications
Valid Wisconsin teaching license OR qualifying industry expertise eligible for the Experience-based Pathway.
