We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about improving processes, driving efficiency, and supporting safe, high-quality production.

Position Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the development, documentation, and implementation of manufacturing processes from product concept through full production. You will play a key role in advancing lean manufacturing initiatives , supporting cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance .

What You'll Do

  • Lead development and implementation of manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems
  • Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across operations
  • Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and safety standards
  • Provide 2D & 3D CAD support (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.)
  • Support new product launches, redesigns, and product enhancements
  • Implement technology-driven solutions to improve efficiency and safety
  • Collaborate with teams across engineering, production, quality, planning, procurement, and sales
  • Assist with tooling, prototyping, fixtures, and part modifications
  • Analyze production data to identify opportunities for waste reduction and process optimization
  • Promote a culture where employees are encouraged to share ideas and contribute to continuous improvement
What You Bring

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (or related field)
    • OR Associate degree with 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience
  • Experience with fabrication, welding, forming, coating, and assembly processes
  • Proven success with Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar)
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production workflows
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
Preferred:
  • Experience with robotics and automation
  • Knowledge of quality systems, inspection tools, and calibration methods
  • Background in product development, tooling, and prototyping
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Required PPE: steel-toe shoes, eye protection, hearing protection
