Job Title: Agricultural Field Technician

Location: 7087 E. Peltier Rd, Acampo, CA 95220

Timings: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM; Lunch : 1 Hour 

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Pursuing an Associate or Bachelor degree in agriculturally related field, preferably Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Entomology, or Weed Science
• Experience with experimental designs and/or small plot research desired.
• Experience operating agricultural equipment.

Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities will include:-

• Data collection- Local travel may be required. Field Sampling of fruit and delivery to the laboratory (off site). 
• Trial Planting and maintenance. 
• The position will assist in research and development activities at a research site and report to the local Product Development Specialist.

Comments/Special Instructions

• Company vehicle will be provided to drive from trial locations to Acampo facility. Must have valid drivers license and clean record.
• Degree is preferred but are willing to accept someone with high school diploma.
• Will need to work in high heat pulling tomato fruit samples in the field during the summer.
