POSITION: Agricultural Equipment Operators REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18 years old and at least 3 months experience is required. Must be able to hold/obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Extensive sitting, walking and repetitive movements are required. JOB DESCRIPTION: All Job-duties are in relation to the production of Barley and Potato crops and will be performed at the Employer owned and operated work-site, to include: Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers; Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers; Guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, and to discard diseased or rotten products; Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc, and drill to tractor; Tow harvesting equipment. ANTICIPATED HOURS OF WORK PER WEEK: Up to 48 hours per week. 8 hours per day, Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: April 1, 2025 to November 30, 2025. JOB LOCATION: Employer owned and operated work-site in Monte Vista, Rio Grande County, Colorado. PAY: $17.84/hour, Paid on the 1st and 15th of the month. Employer also provides housing located in Monte Vista, Rio Grande County, Colorado; for workers only. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
