Job Duties:
• Train supervise and monitor inbound and outbound receiving procedures. • Ensure quality of products accuracy of inbound and outbound loads freezer placements and pallet management. • Coordinate with Meat Plant Supervisors regarding production plans and assist Logistics Manager as needed to include creation of distribution plans.
This is a wage hourly position limited to working no more than 1500 hours per agency during the 12-month period of May 1 - April 30, regardless of the hire date. The wage employment period resets on May 1 of the following year. All wage employees are limited to working no more than 29 hours per week on average over the 12-month period. This wage position offers no state benefits.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Thorough working knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures. • Demonstrated ability to supervise others. • Demonstrated ability to operate a motor vehicle and warehouse equipment. • Must use a computer and have good manual dexterity and handeye coordination. • Valid Drivers License.
Additional Considerations:
• Work experience in a warehouse environment and/or logistics. • Commercial Drivers License. • High school diploma or equivalent.
