We are looking for the right seasoned professional to join the team of Michelin-starred chef Shaun Hergatt's restaurant in Midtown East Manhattan. Candidates should have elegant, rehearsed, balletic fine dining as a second nature; strong and positive people management skills; the ability to oversee multi-dining room service; be at the place in their career that they are seeking stability and, eventually, growth; the right candidate will operate from a spirit of ownership of the operation and be willing to do whatever it takes to make the restaurant succeed.
The successful candidate should have:
- A minimum of 3 years fine-dining/luxury restaurant experience as Manager
- A professional and polished appearance
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A hospitable manner combined with a seasoned grasp of crisp, luxury service standards
- Wine and cocktail/liquor knowledge a plus
- Must have computer knowledge of basic restaurant systems and POS systems, including Word and Excel, extra points for working familiarity with Indesign
