Main St. UNION AFFILIATION:Non-Union Employees JOB SUMMARY Under the oversight of the Office of Aging Services (OAS) Director, the OAS Administrator manages, plans, organizes, directs, reviews, and evaluates the funding, operations and programming of the OAS. The OAS Administrator manages the Countys Older Persons millage disbursement process which includes implementing transparent and equitable request for proposals processes, contract management, and reporting. Alongside the OAS Director, the OAS Administrator provides subject matter expertise on aging and aging services to Washtenaw County. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES Essential Duties:

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Specified positions may require a valid Michigan drivers license. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Duties require sufficient mobility to work in a normal office setting and use standard office equipment including a computer, vision to read printed materials and a computer screen and hearing and speech sufficient to communicate in person or over the telephone. EDUCATION Possession of a Master of Social Work, Master of Science in Gerontology, Master of Public Health, Master of Public Administration or possession of a related Masters degree. EXPERIENCE At least three (3) years of administrative or supervisory experience which has included both program planning and administration in aging related services and/or policy. Experience in government and public administration is preferred.
