Job Title : Agile Coach
Location : Chicago IL/Remote
Duration : 6 months + possible extension
Rate Range: $35 - $49/hour on W2/ C2C (All inclusive)
Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to join our team for a 6-month engagement. This role will involve coaching entire organizations and programs to achieve successful agile transformations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated scaled experience in agile transformations.
- DORA metrics literacy, with the ability to explain and improve deployment frequency, change failure rate, lead time for changes, and MTTR.
- Experience in challenging and changing organizational structures to enhance team effectiveness.
- Proven ability to build and sustain psychological safety in teams.
- Ability to run executive-level conversations using delivery data and constraint analysis.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in designing ADO structures for multi-team environments.
- Ability to lead without authority and influence various teams.
- Experience in designing and implementing a comprehensive metrics framework.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Coach entire organizations and programs, not just individual teams.
- Design and execute a multi-team agile transformation program with measurable milestones.
- Operate as a trusted advisor to engineering leadership, providing candid, data-backed input on delivery health.
- Implement at scale: overall retrospectives, cross-team sprint synchronization, area product ownership.
- Facilitate difficult organizational conversations between various stakeholders.
- Build Scrum Master capability in others by mentoring junior and mid-level SMs.
