We are currently building a high-performance district across North Chicagoland and the surrounding communities. To support our mission, we are seeking a strategic, results-oriented Agency Business Consultant (ABC). This is a premier opportunity for a professional who excels at business coaching, operational strategy, and driving high-level execution.
As an Agency Business Consultant, you will function as a high-impact business coach and strategic partner within our District Office. Working directly with the District Manager, you will be the primary catalyst for agency growth. You wont just be "checking in", you will be partnering with agency owners to help them scale their businesses faster, cleaner, and more profitably.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
- Establish a consistent agency visit rhythm and become a trusted advisor to owners.
- Implement a weekly cadence: training blocks, scorecards, and follow-up accountability.
- Drive early wins in Farmers Auto/Home placement, conversion, and retention routines.
Your focus will be on the critical few metrics that define a successful agency. You will drive execution in the areas that matter most:
- Strategic Growth: Accelerating Auto & Home production through disciplined sales systems.
- Conversion Excellence: Refining "speed-to-lead" and quote-to-bind discipline to maximize ROI.
- Operational Integrity: Auditing and implementing retention routines and daily save-scripts to ensure long-term stability.
- Business Consultation: Leading formal agency reviews and establishing 30/60/90-day action plans that hold teams accountable to their own goals.

Compensation & Perks
- Bonus: performance-based up to an additional $20k annually
- Allowances: gas + cell phone allowance
- Schedule: 4 days/week in-office (Schaumburg) + field visits
Salary Range: $55000.00 - $70000.00 per year

Responsibilities
- Coach agency owners and teams on sales systems, activity standards, pipeline management, and execution cadence.
- Run structured agency consultations (in-person + follow-ups) with clear 30/60/90-day action plans and accountability.
- Lead training on quote-to-bind discipline, speed-to-lead, follow-up frameworks, and account rounding (Auto/Home focus).
- Help agencies improve retention behaviors and establish renewal/save routines.
- Use performance data to identify gaps, set targets, and drive measurable improvement.
- Partner with the District recruiting team to support onboarding and growth initiatives (as needed).
Requirements
- Licensed in P&C preferred or ability to obtain/maintain required licenses.
- Experienced in insurance sales leadership, coaching, business consulting, or performance management.
- Comfortable leading training, holding standards, and driving follow-through.
- Strong communication skills and confident executive presence with business owners.
- Metrics-driven: you can translate data into actions and outcomes.
- Willing to travel locally for agency visits across the district.
