Border Bank is seeking an experienced, relationship‑driven Ag/Business Banker to join our Greenbush team.
This role is ideal for a banking professional who excels at building strong client relationships, driving business growth, and staying actively engaged in their community.
As an Ag/Business Banker, you will provide loan, deposit, and cash‑management solutions to business and agricultural clients while representing Border Bank as a trusted partner in the region.
Ag/Business Banker Key Responsibilities
- Originate agriculture and business loans; manage an assigned portfolio with attention to growth, mix, margin, credit quality, and fee income
- Generate new loan volume through proactive business development and deepening existing client relationships
- Provide exceptional customer service to both new and existing clients
- Monitor and work with delinquent loans to maintain a high‑quality loan portfolio
- Create new deposit relationships and expand existing ones
- Negotiate loan rates and terms within established guidelines
- Actively participate in community and civic organizations, representing Border Bank in the community
Ag/Business Banker Education & Requirements
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
- Passion for business development and community involvement
- Solid credit analysis skills
- 5+ years of banking experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
