Successful candidates must have teacher and/or administrative certification at the appropriate programmatic level.
Candidates must be available to work two or four evenings per week.
Job Description
The site coordinator will help manage and provide a high-quality afterschool program.
Ensure the safety and security of all students enrolled.
Make certain county and afterschool policies and procedures are followed.
Verify compliance to the afterschool program schedule.
Support teachers in delivering the afterschool curriculum.
Validate afterschool lessons address needs of students, fostering more consistency between regular-day and afterschool programs.
Demonstrate ability to use technology for collection and communication of all program-required data to the 21st Century Grant Director, according to grant requirements, in an accurate and timely manner.
Completed in full and submit to the building principal the end-of-year documentation binder as a required component of the EOY checkout process.
Submit family engagement data, including Family Post-Survey data and other identified data.
Record/submit program attendance, activity logs, and other necessary data and information.
Work closely with all program staff to ensure consistent reporting of safeguarding risks and incidents; strong methodology in the field for managing risks and following reporting protocols;
Supply proper documentation in support of incident reports as needed.
Collect data on safeguarding risks and efforts to mitigate risks in the program environment.
Make intentional, regular efforts to remain up-to-date on key local and state child welfare policies and reporting protocols.
Follow all key local and state child welfare policies and reporting protocols.
Ensure data protection by collecting consent and maintaining records for a designated time period.
Store all data in a secure location, and protect any shared data through encryption or by storing it in a secure location.
Attend all professional development related to the afterschool program.
Communicate regularly with the 21st Century Grant Director and building principal regarding afterschool activities.
Recruit students for participation in the program each week.
Be available to teach sessions when needed.
Collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Help monitor activity bus radio.
Comply with any additional grant-related needs or requirements as needed.
Terms of Employment
September 8, 2026 - April 22, 2027
Make-up days will be added in the event afterschool is cancelled.
Compensation
$25.00 per hour (2.5 to 4 hours per evening depending on location and bus schedule)
