Primary Purpose:
The Afterschool Program Specialist supports the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of high-quality afterschool programming across Del Valle ISD campuses. This position collaborates closely with the Director of Afterschool Programs to ensure programs are safe, engaging, and aligned with district goals. The Specialists assist in developing enrichment opportunities, monitoring program effectiveness, and providing campus-level support to ensure students benefit from structured, meaningful learning experiences beyond the school day. The Afterschool Program Specialist should have strong organizational and administrative skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, good writing and computer skills, and experience in youth and family services, public education, or recreation.
