Job Purpose:

The Aftermarket Support Specialist role is responsible for supporting sales teams and customers on specialized commercial parts and supplies and all aftermarket parts and supplies.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily operations of the sales support role, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards
  • Deliver high-quality, responsive service to clients and territory managers, addressing inquiries, managing orders, and resolving issues promptly in a fast paced environment.
  • Assist in the development of sales strategies for parts, aligning with the company’s objectives
  • Assist in the implementation of sales promotions.
  • Provide technical support as needed.
  • Monitor sales metrics, analyze trends, and implement improvements to sales processes
  • Work closely with inventory teams to ensure accurate stock levels for commercial parts, minimizing both overstock and stockouts
  • Coordinate with purchasing to forecast needs and manage supply chain logistics
  • Use data to drive decision-making and optimize team performance
  • Liaise with other departments such as marketing, technical support, and sales to ensure a cohesive approach to business objectives
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive company-wide initiatives
  • Assist store personnel (ISPs and DCMs) in identifying, quoting and ordering parts and supplies
  • Work cooperatively with others
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current on product knowledge.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain regular, punctual and reliable attendance and availability

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2 years’ experience in the HVAC industry or related field
  • 2 years HVAC commercial parts and products experience
  • 2 years customer service experience
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office, specifically MS Excel.
  • SAP experience, a plus
  • Proven multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical aptitude preferred
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by company driver policies
     

Travel Requirement:

  • Up to 25% travel to branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay
