Summary
The Aftermarket Quote Specialist works in a fast-paced environment and must be able to successfully manage multiple quoting and customer service inquiries simultaneously, while using creative problem solving to bring requests to resolution as quickly as possible. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, customer-centric, detail-oriented, and the desire to approach situations with a strategic mindset. The AQS is responsible for managing their territory and providing their customers with outstanding service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inside sales, operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This hands-on position is perfect for someone who wants to develop this role by taking ownership, supporting, and driving revenue.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Review requests for quotes (RFQs) and develop accurate quotations for customers, ensuring that all information is complete and meets company standards
Quote follow-up to support order placement and development of accurate forecasts
Manage daily business for customers including but not limited to:
Respond to customer inquiries for updates on order fulfillment
Provide updates on order delivery changes
Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints
Conduct regular business review meetings with assigned accounts
Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns
Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Review purchase orders and ensure pricing, quality certificates, and compliance requirements are consistent with quotes
Support and/or manage the RMA (Return Materials Authorization) Process (customer repair and returns)
Ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage daily workload
