Affidavit Specialist
Pay Rate: $18.50-19.00/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-4:30PM-OT as needed

Job Summary

The Affidavit Specialist is responsible for the intake and processing of customer and citizen inquiries and requests received via email, mail, fax, and other sources. Typical requests include:

  • Questions and inquiries from citizens regarding receipt of notices, next steps, and status updates
  • Processing and recording documents pertaining to liability, hearings, payments, and other correspondence
  • Providing necessary documents to customers and/or citizens as required
  • Opening, sorting, and scanning incoming mail

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and process high volumes of customer and citizen requests in accordance with applicable business rules and statutes
  • Become thoroughly familiar with the business rules for each customer and deliver timely, accurate service
  • Ensure alignment with business requirements and company standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service to citizens
  • Process internal requests from operational or support teams as required
  • Adhere to assigned service level agreements (SLAs)

Requirements:

  • Drug and Background screening
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Fingerprints
  • Reliable transportation
  • Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel)
  • Data entry speed of 40 WPM
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of data entry experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to work and problem-solve independently, with sound judgment on when to escalate issues
  • Ability to make sound decisions and accept/act upon constructive feedback
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments
  • Ability to operate effectively and reliably in both office and remote environments
  • Must be capable of sitting or standing for extended periods
  • Must be capable of reviewing data and/or images on a computer monitor for extended periods (typically 8-hour shifts)
