Description:
Interiors System Design & Stress Analysis Engineer/Structural Design & Stress Analysis Engineers: Support a variety of aerospace programs.
You will perform interior systems design or stress analysis / structural design or structural analysis, support development of conceptual design phases through to released engineering drawing and stress analysis reports, support testing and prepare documentation with a range of aerospace engineering disciplines.
As an Interiors System Engineer: you will be responsible for the design of interior components, including customer specification review, design specifications, system design, system integration, supplier type testing review and approval.
Interior Systems Stress Engineer: Performs stress analysis of complex interior, system and structural installations. Able to derive specific installation requirements from FAA and customer requirements.
Structural Design Engineers: Work with Aerodynamics, Loads, Performance & Handling Qualities, CFD and Stress Engineers to develop airframe structural configuration layouts Model. Specific tasks include: Primary and secondary structures and Fuselage and empennage structures.
Basic Qualifications:
Understanding of aerospace engineering principles and concepts related to metallic and composite aircraft structures and systems. Design applicants should have experience with industry standard hardware, materials, and manufacturing and tooling techniques. Should also be cognizant of design for weight, producibility, durability, and customer specific needs. Knowledgeable in the application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5-2009 drafting standard. Stress Engineer applicants should have experience with the application of the appropriate analysis method depending on the phase or complexity of the structure. The ability to interrogate CATIA models and use a PDM system is viewed as a benefit. Well qualified applicants will have familiarity with FAR Part 23 and Part 25 certification requirements.

A Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering/Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Composite/Material Science, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field is required.
