Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial strategy and business development activities for assigned aerospace customers and territories across France and Europe.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including procurement, engineering, supply chain, program management, and executive leadership.
  • Identify, qualify, and capture strategic growth opportunities with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, distributors, and aftermarket customers.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer by translating market needs, application requirements, and customer feedback into actionable business opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market developments to identify risks, opportunities, and growth strategies.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, business cases, and customer activity reports.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, contract discussions, pricing strategies, and long-term agreement development.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and customer support teams to ensure successful execution of customer programs.
  • Travel extensively throughout France and Europe to support customer relationships and business growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of aerospace industry experience, education, and training.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace account management, business development, sales, program management, or commercial leadership.
  • Proven success managing strategic customer relationships and delivering revenue growth within the aerospace industry.
  • Experience working with aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, defense contractors, or aftermarket customers is strongly preferred.

  • Aerospace markets, industry trends, and customer requirements.
  • Technical aerospace products, applications, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strategic account management and business development methodologies.
  • Market intelligence, competitive analysis, and opportunity capture.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strategic planning, forecasting, and territory management.
  • Project management and cross-functional leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and business intelligence tools.

  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Work independently with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
  • Travel up to 50% throughout France and Europe.
  • Communicate effectively in English; French is strongly preferred. Additional European languages are considered an asset.
