Quality Engineer - Elevate Aerospace Excellence

Kent, WA | Full-Time, Day Shift (M-F) | Reports to: Quality Manager

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 (DOE) | FAA Repair Station Environment

We're seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our high-performance team driving excellence in aerospace surface finishing. If you're passionate about solving complex technical challenges, collaborating with OEMs, and ensuring mission-critical quality, this is your runway to impact.

Your Mission

Partner directly with aerospace commercial, defense, and space OEMs and suppliers, to resolve technical issues and interpret engineering specs and drawings.

Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce Cost of Poor Quality.

Develop and implement quality standards and process improvements across production.

Support FAA Repair Station return-to-service authorizations.

Host audits and customer visits and train cross-functional teams on quality best practices.

Your Flight Plan

Preferred Experience: 5+ years in aerospace manufacturing or finishing; AS9100 & Nadcap familiarity preferred.

Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; quality certifications a plus.

Skills: Strong analytical mindset, hands-on with measuring tools, ERP/QMS systems (Syteline preferred), and technical documentation.

Certifications: FAA Repairman Certificate and auditor training are advantageous.
