Aerospace Production Certification Instructor

Location: Everett, WA
Pay Rate: $32/hr

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Aerospace Instructors with strong technical skills to teach aerospace production courses. Candidates will provide hands-on training in electrical, mechanical, sealant, and safety processes for aerospace personnel. Military veterans with technical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Interview Requirements:

• Business casual attire is required. Interviews may be ended early if dress code is not followed.

• Candidates must be able to stand and instruct for full-day sessions.

Instructor Areas & Responsibilities

1. Electrical Instructor

• Teach aircraft electrical installations and assembly work

• Electrical functional test troubleshooting

• Electrical crimping and soldering

• Basic mechanical skills

2. Aerospace Mechanical Skills Instructor

• Electrical installations, bonding & grounding

• Aircraft assembly, heavy structure drilling, and/or maintenance

• Blueprint reading, production standards, and functional testing

• Aircraft systems operation, familiarization, and troubleshooting

3. Aerospace Seal Instructor

• Aircraft sealant application experience

• Clean and apply sealant to aircraft components accurately

4. Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Instructor

• Expertise in confined space procedures, Lock Out Tag Tryout (LOTTO), DOT regulations, and fall protection

Requirements

• Strong technical skills in aerospace production

• Experience instructing technical courses in aerospace or related industries

• Ability to stand and teach full days

• Professionalism and strong communication skills

Schedule & Locations

• Expected 40–43 hours/week

• Shifts may vary:

  • 1st Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM

  • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM (± 1 hour)

Location Preferences (Candidates to provide 1st & 2nd choice):

• North: Everett Area – 1st or 2nd shift
