Description

Our client, a leader in engineering solutions, is seeking a dedicated Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer, you will be an integral part of the production operations supporting various manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Chula Vista, California

Pay Range:$60-$65/hr plus benefits

What's the Job?

  • Support production operations by developing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Evaluate designs during reviews to resolve producibility issues and define tooling philosophy.
  • Develop Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOMs), work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Issue purchase orders for tooling and necessary manufacturing equipment.
  • Provide hands-on shop floor support to troubleshoot assembly and machining issues.

What's Needed?

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering preferred.
  • Proficiency with CAD software, specifically CATIA V5 and Teamcenter.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes including manual assembly, precision machining, and composites manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen events. Experience with SAP.
  • Understanding of standards like ASME Y14.5‑2018 (GD&T), PFMEA, and AS9100 quality compliance.
