Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead requirements development, systems integration, and verification activities across highly complex aerospace and defense programs. This individual will work cross-functionally to ensure technical performance, program execution, and customer requirements are successfully achieved throughout the product lifecycle.

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage system requirements and technical specifications.
  • Lead systems integration, verification, validation, and qualification testing.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing teams.
  • Perform trade studies, risk assessments, and technical analysis.
  • Support customer design reviews and program milestones.
  • Develop interface control documents and systems architecture.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace and defense standards throughout development.

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems, Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of systems engineering experience within aerospace or defense.
  • Experience with requirements management, systems integration, and V&V activities.
  • Familiarity with DOORS, Cameo, MBSE, or similar systems engineering tools.
  • Strong understanding of the full product development lifecycle.
  • Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
