Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and production of high-reliability electromechanical products used in aerospace and defense applications. This role will work cross-functionally with electrical, manufacturing, quality, and systems engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions while ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Develop products through the full engineering lifecycle, from concept through production.
- Create detailed drawings, GD&T, and engineering documentation.
- Perform tolerance stack-ups, FEA, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to support DFM/DFA initiatives.
- Support qualification testing, validation, and design verification.
- Drive continuous improvement and resolve production-related engineering issue
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience within aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Proficient in SolidWorks or Creo with strong GD&T knowledge.
- Experience designing electromechanical assemblies, machined components, and precision mechanisms.
- Familiarity with AS9100, DFMEA, FEA, and product validation testing.
- U.S. Person status required.
