The Advisor, Continuous Improvement report to the Senior Direct, Continuous Improvement and is responsible for leading enterprise-level performance improvement initiatives across procurement, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations within Venture Global's LNG business. This role serves as a subject matter expert in Continuous Improvement (CI), driving large-scale, high-impact initiatives through advanced Lean application, structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and data-driven operational strategy. They will partner with executive leadership, Quality, HSSE, Operations, and Supply Chain to identify systemic risks, prioritize enterprise-level improvement opportunities, and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are sustainable and financially aligned. This role also serves as a mentor and capability builder, strengthening CI maturity across the organization while remaining an individual contributor.
Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Continuous Improvement Leadership
- Lead high-complexity, cross-functional CI initiatives with enterprise-wide impact on safety, reliability, cost, and operational performance.
- Facilitate executive-level RCA workshops for significant events, systemic issues, and recurring defects.
- Establish and continuously enhance standardized CI governance, tools, templates, and reporting frameworks.
- Identify and prioritize strategic improvement opportunities aligned with business objectives and risk profiles.
- Serve as the internal SME for structured problem-solving and operational excellence methodologies.
Qualifications:
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, Operations, or related technical field required.
- Master's degree (MBA, Engineering, or related discipline) preferred.
Experience:
- 8-12+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Quality, Operations, or Reliability within LNG, oil & gas, energy, or heavy industrial environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading high-impact, cross-functional RCA and CI initiatives with measurable financial and operational outcomes.
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive systemic change without direct authority.
- Experience mentoring analysts and developing CI capability within complex organizations.
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Lean, RCA methodologies, and structured problem-solving frameworks (5-Why, Fishbone, A3, 8D, DOE).
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical capability with experience translating data into financial impact.
- Experience building dashboards and executive-level reporting.
