No relocation provided.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completionDefine project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholdersDevelop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocationSupport system architecture tradesRequirements Validation and Verification (understanding of the “V” method)Verification plan development and execution including formal qualificationProject schedule and milestone development/managementProject estimation and budget preparation based on verification planRisk/opportunity development and managementProject execution and performance managementQualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.5 years of related engineering experience2 years experience in a systems engineering or project engineering functions.Ability to drive small teams (1-3 subject matter experts) to execute technical engineering tasksProven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budgetStrong leadership and project management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred Experience4 years of systems or project engineering experience in the aerospace industryExperience leading development programs for major aerospace systemsExperience with earned value managementSpecific experience in any of the following is a major differentiator: environmental control systems, vapor cycle systems, air cycle systems, thermal management systems, fuel tank inerting systems, system architecture, turbomachines, heat exchangers, power electronics, or controlsRequirements management using DOORS or DOORS NGCreate relevant action plans that bring value to our internal or external customersProject management experience particularly familiarity with Earned Value Management and Integrated Master SchedulesTest experience including developing test plans, writing test procedures, overseeing test execution, experience with acceptance test procedures, experience with DO-160 and/or MIL-STD 810 environmental testingIndividuals who are self‑motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by eventsAbility to lead small teams to execute requirements validation and verification activitiesAbility to convey complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audienceExcellent communication skills to all audiencesMicrosoft Office masteryBenefitsIn addition to a competitive salary, leading‑edge work, and developing solutions side‑by‑side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
