Join us in Newington, NH as the advanced troubleshooter who keeps production moving. You’ll report to the Maintenance Area Manager and work 100% onsite, applying expert diagnostic techniques to complex electro-mechanical systems and CNC controls.
We are NOT looking for an automotive, fabrication or welding background for this opportunity.
Your mission
- Stand up maintenance capabilities for new and reconfigured electrical/mechanical equipment—ensuring smooth introduction and reliable operation.
- Collaborate with production to shape process improvements and coordinate modifications that drive performance gains.
- Lead preventive maintenance (PM) activities—paired with rigorous troubleshooting to address root causes.
- Restore uptime through repairs on plant electrical and mechanical systems and production machinery.
- Maintain and repair pneumatic controls supporting building systems and production equipment.
- Perform PM and minor repairs on plant machinery and equipment, including hydraulic systems on production machinery.
- Execute end-to-end troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Install and debug complex CNC control systems using advanced methods and internal/external diagnostic tools and software.
- Ensure parts availability by requisitioning materials and components.
- Navigate electrical/mechanical drawings, schematics, ladder diagrams, and diagnostic software to validate work.
- Operate within the L2L maintenance program using a company-provided laptop/phone for PMs, work orders, and documentation.
- Contribute to team needs with other general duties as assigned by management.
What success looks like
Within your first months, you’re proactively scheduling PMs in L2L, cutting recurring faults through targeted repairs, and partnering with production to implement modifications that improve uptime and quality.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED.
- Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, ladder diagrams, and PLC logic.
- Basic familiarity with CNC programming languages.
