Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking a compassionate and clinically confident Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our General Cardiology team. This clinic-based role offers the chance to care for a diverse patient population with cardiovascular disease while working alongside an experienced cardiologist and fellow APP in a highly supportive environment.

Whether you are an experienced cardiology APP or a strong clinician from emergency medicine, critical care, or internal medicine looking to transition into cardiology, we would love to speak with you.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient clinic setting
• Develop individualized treatment plans including:
• • Diagnostic testing and imaging
  • Medical therapies
  • Interventions and specialist referrals
  • Patient education and preventative care
• Practice with a high level of autonomy while collaborating closely with the physician and APP colleague
• Build meaningful relationships with patients while delivering compassionate, high-quality care

What We're Looking For

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Virginia
• Current certification through ANCC or AANP
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Commitment to maintaining all licensure and credentials in good standing

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years of cardiology, emergency medicine, or critical care experience preferred
• Strong internal medicine experience will also be considered
• New graduates with significant emergency or critical care backgrounds are encouraged to apply
