MUSC Health Advanced Practice Provider (APP NP/PA) – Advanced Heart Failure APP Nights, Columbia, SC

MUSC Health - Columbia Medical Center Downtown is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Heart Failure ICU night team within the nationally recognized MUSC Health Heart and Vascular Division. This full-time, night shift position offers the opportunity to provide high-acuity inpatient care to patients with advanced and complex cardiac disease, with a primary focus on heart failure management in the ICU setting.

As an integral member of a high-performing nocturnal care team, the APP will play a critical role in ensuring continuity, safety, and quality of care during overnight hours in a fast-paced cardiology ICU. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct patient care in the ICU, inpatient units, and outpatient clinic.
• Managing and coordinating care for patients with acute and chronic heart failure.
• Evaluating new and established patients.
• Assisting with peer-to-peer approvals and care coordination.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current or eligible APRN licensure.
• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current or eligible PA licensure
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a FNP, ANP, AGACNP, ACNP, or PA.
