Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) — Uplift For Her

Uplift For Her as an IMMEDIATE opening for a new team member to serve as an Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)! Please see the description below. If interested in applying, please submit your application at https://www.upliftforher.com/jobs

POSITION OVERVIEW: Full-time | 4 clinic days per week

SALARY: Commensurate with experience

LOCATION: 4685 S. Highland Dr., Suite 208, Salt Lake City, Utah

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Integrative Women's Health Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized healthcare services to women utilizing a balanced conventional medicine and integrative/functional medicine approach.

Who We Are

Uplift For Her is an integrative women's health clinic in Salt Lake City. We take conventional medicine seriously — we follow guidelines, we screen appropriately, we prescribe when it's warranted. We also recognize that guidelines don't always answer every question a patient brings through the door, and that "everything looks normal" is sometimes where the real work begins.

When conventional medicine has done what it can do, we keep going. We draw on functional nutrition, hormonal optimization, lifestyle medicine, and integrative tools to help women feel their best instead of settling for “normal”. We also place significant emphasis on disease prevention.

About the Role

You will guide your patient panel through a focused scope of practice:

  • Integrative lifestyle foundations (nutrition, sleep, stress, movement)
  • Hormonal and cycle support
  • Perimenopause and menopause care, including HRT
  • Thyroid management
  • Medical and lifestyle-based weight loss
  • Gut health
  • Disease screening and prevention

This is a clinician role, not a support role. You'll have the full backing of our physician team and a collaborative culture — but your patients are yours to know well and care for thoughtfully.

Patient Care Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessment and evaluation, and provide personalized care to women desiring a comprehensive approach to weight loss, including prescribing weight loss medications according to the values and training of Uplift For Her.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and provide personalized care to women experiencing peri-menopause and menopause.
  • Provide education about and prescribe hormone replacement therapy and support patients through their menopausal transition.
  • Provide comprehensive evaluation and education for annual age-appropriate screenings.
  • Listen actively, empathize with patients' concerns, and empower them to take an active role in their healing process.

Who We're Looking For

We want someone who is genuinely excited about this kind of medicine and is actively growing in it. Specifically:

Clinically grounded - You're comfortable with women's health fundamentals (menstrual cycles, hormones, screening, prescribing), and you're building or have built fluency in integrative approaches.

A self-directed learner - When you hit a question you can't answer, you dig in. You come to the team with your thinking, and your proposed plan, not just the question. You're likely reading or listening to something health-related on your own time because you want to, not because it's required. You're constantly curious about women's health and how we can support women (and ourselves) better.

Someone who lives it - You've engaged with your own health — nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, hormones, whatever chapter of life you're currently in. That firsthand experience makes you a better guide. We're not looking for perfection, but we are looking for someone who is actively on the journey, not standing outside of it.

A good fit for a small team - You're reliable, you finish your charting, you communicate well, and you contribute to a work environment that everyone is glad to show up to.

Our Culture

We are a small, close-knit team that genuinely loves what we do and the patients we do it for. We show up with warmth, optimism, and a commitment to each other's growth — and we're looking for someone who adds to that, not someone who coasts on it. We celebrate wins together, we learn together, and we hold a high standard for the sake of our patients. If you're the kind of clinician who is always looking to grow, who brings energy to a team, and who takes pride in doing excellent work — you'll fit right in here. Personality matters to us as much as credentials. You will be challenged, supported, and pushed to become an exceptional practitioner. We're looking for someone ready to plant roots — this is a long-term role, and we intend to invest in you accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Active NP or PA license in Utah
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in women's health
  • Training and experience in hormone replacement therapy
  • Familiarity with integrative/functional medicine principles; formal training is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and genuine warmth with patients
  • Understanding of and experience in supporting weight loss through a lifestyle approach AND medical approach
  • Knowledge of screening tests and general lab tests to ensure comprehensive preventative patient care. Applicants should be familiar with screening guidelines regarding metabolic health, heart health, breast cancer, appropriate genetic screening (i.e. qualifications for BRCA gene mutation), osteoporosis, etc.
  • Basic familiarity with integrative/functional medicine principles of nutrition, body movement, sleep, stress management and recovery and social connectedness. Any training in functional medicine is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of NAMS (North American Menopause Society) guidelines for menopause, or a willingness to familiarize oneself with these guidelines.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth
  • Warm and collaborative work environment in a small, supportive practice
  • Working with a team that prioritizes the well-being and health of patients AND staff
  • No need to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and no call
  • Additional benefits available
