Position Summary: Provides care, treatment, and support services within the scope of nursing practice to patients presenting with life threatening illnesses or injuries, as assigned by and under the direction of the supervising physician, who shall be available for direct communication for consultation. The nurse practitioner provides continuity of quality, safe, cost-effective patient care integrating relevant research and best practices.
