JOB SUMMARY: The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Hospitalist is responsible for providing comprehensive inpatient medical care through daily rounding, care coordination, and patient management under the collaboration of supervising physicians. This role supports the hospitalist service by evaluating and managing hospitalized patients, executing treatment plans, and documenting care in the electronic health record. The APP may also be required to function in an admitting capacity, including performing initial patient evaluations, ordering diagnostics, initiating treatment plans, and coordinating admissions. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care.
