AFC Urgent Care - Harpers Point is a state-of-the-art clinic dedicated to providing high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care to our community. Our team of healthcare professionals is committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences seven days a week on a walk-in or appointment basis. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider APP to join our team. This location is equipped with an onsite lab and in-house x-ray capability.

Job Description ---------------

AFC Urgent Care - Harpers Point is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages. The APP will collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to focus on the diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, workers compensation, and occupational medicine.

Key Responsibilities --------------------

• Perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories
• Review patient records
• Develop comprehensive medical assessments
• Order laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies appropriate for the patients complaint, race, sex, and physical condition
• Interpret and analyze patient data to determine patient status, patient management, and treatment
• Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals to the appropriate healthcare facilities, agencies, and other resources of the community or physician
• Institute emergency measures and emergency treatment or appropriate stabilization measures in situations such as cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications --------------

• Active and Current Nurse Practitioner NP or Physician Assistant PA license in the state of Ohio
• ANCC AANP or NCCPA Board Certified - with 1 year ERU experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• DOT and DEA Certifications Preferred
