JOB SUMMARY

Extracorporeal Membranous Oxygenation ECMO Service Tampa General Hospital seeks a skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse APRN or Physician Assistant PA with specialized experience in cardiac critical care to support its ECMO Service Line. This role focuses on providing comprehensive care to ECMO patients emphasizing health promotion disease prevention and management of acute and chronic conditions. The APP will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care and contribute to advancing the ECMO program. The APP will have an opportunity to practice autonomously and collaboratively within their established scope. All TGH team members are responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission vision and values in accordance with Tampa General Hospital.

RESPONSIBILITIES - ECMO Service

• Works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients health care problems.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES - ECMO SERVICE

• Demonstrates current knowledge and level of expertise utilizing evidence and theory-based practice infection control standards and clinical evaluations in providing care to clients in clinic or hospital-based settings as evidenced by following established protocols. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and electronic medical records EMR systems preferably Epic • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Outstanding customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
