Job Summary:
Instructors are Clinical Faculty at the University of Colorado School of Medicine that work at Children''s Hospital Colorado in an emergency care settings. They provide medical care to acutely ill and injured infants, children, and adolescents in our 24/7 and afterhours network of Emergency facilities. In this role, they perform history and physical examinations to define and execute appropriate workup that leads to diagnosis, treatment, and disposition. Work in this setting will require technical and procedural skills and may require pediatric resuscitation and advanced life support. In addition, Clinical Faculty are involved with institutional quality and patient safety improvement and development of clinical care guidelines that aim to provide consistent, quality care throughout our institution and are core members of the clinical Pediatric teaching staff for University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO and additional CHCO Emergency Departments in the Denver metro area.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
The hiring range for this position is $113,000 to $158,000 annually. Compensation is assigned according to the Section''s established salary matrix, with salary determined by years of relevant experience at the time of hire.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
