The Division of Cardiac Surgery is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to function as part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The primary responsibility of a successful candidate will be to act as a first or second assistant for adult cardiac surgery cases. Additionally, this provider will be responsible for endovein and radial harvesting. When not in the operating room the APP will assist in cardiac surgery clinic.
Schedule: Variable. Typically, 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts. Rotating night, weekend and holiday OR call. Background checks and pre-employment health screenings will be conducted on all new hires prior to employment. All safety-sensitive positions with direct patient interaction also require a drug screen.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive); Repetitive motion: computer keyboard. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to noise, radiation, radioactive materials, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The starting base rate for this role is $124,845.00 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidates qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
