Summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, a leading healthcare provider in the region, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP)  to join our Critical Care team.  This role involves comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, and management of critically ill patients while ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices. The APP plays a vital role in care coordination, clinical decision-making, and interdisciplinary collaboration for some of the hospitals most critical patients.

Responsibilities 

  • Provide comprehensive care, including physical exams, health history evaluations, and diagnostic assessments. 

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work, X-rays, and other studies. Perform diagnostic procedures such as blood draws, smears, and urinalysis. 

  • Diagnose and treat both acute and chronic conditions. Prescribe medications in collaboration with licensed physicians. 

  • Develop educational programs for staff, medical students, and community agencies. Participate in training programs, seminars, and team meetings. 

  • Collaborate with healthcare staff, physicians, and community agencies to ensure holistic patient care. 

Qualifications 

  •  Current Maryland Physician Assistant or CRNP or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner License. 

  • DEA Controlled Substance Registration, Controlled Dangerous Substances License (or eligibility to obtain). 

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
